Comprehensive Assessment System
At Anvar School, we follow a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system as per the Kerala State Educational Board guidelines. This ensures that a student's holistic development is monitored throughout the academic year, not just through final examinations.
Terminal Examinations
The academic year is divided into distinct terms. Formal written examinations (Onam, Christmas, and Annual Exams) are conducted at the end of each term to assess the students' academic grasp.
Unit Tests & Monthly Assessments
Regular unit tests and monthly evaluations help teachers track progress, identify learning gaps early, and provide timely remedial support to students.
Continuous Evaluation (CE)
Marks are awarded for assignments, seminars, projects, practicals, attendance, and classroom participation, forming a crucial part of the final grade.
Examination Rules & Guidelines
Punctuality
Students must report to the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Latecomers may not be permitted to enter.
Hall Tickets & ID
For board and terminal exams, possessing a valid Hall Ticket and School ID card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.
Uniform Code
Students must appear for all examinations in full, proper school uniform. Casual wear or improper uniform will lead to denial of entry.
Prohibited Items
Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators (unless permitted), and study materials are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Malpractice Policy
Any form of copying, malpractice, or misbehavior during examinations will be dealt with strictly, leading to cancellation of the paper or suspension.
Absence & Medical Leave
Absence during exams is strongly discouraged. In case of severe illness, a valid medical certificate must be submitted to the Principal immediately.
Results & Open House (PTA)
Following every major examination, the school organizes an Open House session where parents can meet the class teachers and subject teachers.
- Detailed progress reports are issued during the Open House.
- One-on-one discussions on the child's academic strengths and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration between parents and teachers to formulate remedial action plans if necessary.
- Attendance of at least one parent/guardian is mandatory for the Open House.
Need to discuss your child's progress?
You don't have to wait for the Open House. Schedule a meeting with the teachers during visiting hours.
